lemon-pink.co.uk was founded in August 2011 by Lucy Mason to showcase and sell her work. Lucy has loved making fabric and patchwork items in her spare time since her school days, and was taught sewing, knitting and embroidery by her mother. Lucy is a member of The Quilters Guild. Lucy makes beautiful patchwork items including quilts, toys, bags and purses. She also makes artistic wall hangings, knitted baby clothes and hats, watercolour paintings, and writes, in addition to being a mum of two gorgeous children. Lucy's style is unique and combines colourful contemporary designs with vintage and upcycled fabrics. Items can also be made to commission, for example using particular fabrics which are meaningful to you.

"I want to bring the beauty of patchwork to a younger audience, making things which are far removed from the fuddy-duddy old-fashioned image of patchwork. I use bright, vibrant and colourful fabrics and incorporate upcycled fabrics - in keeping with the original spirit of patchwork to re-use worn-out clothes and give new life to cast-offs. I enjoy making the quilts in my spare time and often design new quilts in my head while I am looking after my children, or dreaming in the bath. Every room in my house has some of my work on the walls. I really want to bring my designs to a wider audience, and I hope you will love them too."
